  • Treated pine

A treated pine paling fence is an excellent choice for homeowners seeking both durability and aesthetic appeal. This type of fencing is constructed from specially treated timber that enhances its resistance to decay, pests, and harsh weather conditions, ensuring a long lifespan with minimal maintenance.

Additionally, the palings can be easily customised in height and spacing to achieve the desired level of privacy and security.

Overall, a treated pine paling fence combines functionality with a classic look, making it a popular option in residential fencing across Australia.

For comparison, treated pine fences are roughly the same cost to build as hardwood fences.

  • Optional extras

    Lapped pailings:

Lapped paling fencing has two overlapping layers of palings. This eliminates most of the gaps between the panels and is effective where complete privacy is important.

    Capped:

Paling fences can also include a top “cap” piece that covers the pickets, which provides a more finished look.

    Plinth boards:

The plinth sits under the bottom of the fence. It makes the fence look neat and tidy by filling unsightly gaps. It also prevents weeds, debris, and rubbish from entering your yard and can help prevent animals from digging under it.
